The small, precise, Khepera robot has become a world standard for researchers using mobile robotics. The recent introduction of the Hemisson robot has helped bring the study of autonomous robotics and AI to high-schools and undergraduate classrooms. The all-terrain indoor Koala robot is used by research institutions as a platform for more advanced robotic development. The new Korebot embedded linux board by K-Team has further advanced the capabilities of the Koala. The Korebot and Koremotor are providing new, highly capable and affordable platforms for custom robot builders, from research groups to hobbyists. Building up know-how in electronic design, mechanical enginering, and embedded software, K-Team is able to design, develop and manufacture custom robots or custom robotic systems for specific needs. 
The Khepera III is the next generation robot from K-Team. The Khepera III can match the performance of much bigger robots, with an upgradable embedded computing power using the KoreBot system, mutiple sensor arrays for both long range and short range object detection, swapable battery pack system for optimal autonomy, and exceptional differential drive odometry. 
Koala is a mid-size robot designed for real-world applications. Bigger than Khepera, more powerful, and capable of carrying larger accessories, Koala has the functionality necessary for use in practical applications (like sophisticated battery management), rides on 6 wheels for indoor all-terrain operation, and sports stylish bodywork for attractive demonstrations. 
The KoreBotLE is the next generation KoreBot designed to increase performance and connectivity while offering low power consumption. K-Team's Koala and Khepera III robots provide easy extensions for the KoreBotII. Third party platforms may also easily add the KoreBotLE to their platforms and other robot applications. The KoreBotLE is a very small embedded Linux board with some very attractive features for robotics and sensor network applications. 
Khepera II is a miniature mobile robot with functionality similar to that of larger robots used in research and education. Khepera was originally designed as a research and teaching tool for a Swiss Research Priority Program at EPFL in Lausanne. It allows real world testing of algorithms developed in simulation for trajectory planning, obstacle avoidance, pre-processing of sensory information, and hypotheses on behavior processing, among others. 
The Hemisson robot is a ready-to-use small robot designed for education and teaching. Equipped with several sensors and a programmable 8bit MCU, the robot is able to avoid obstacles, detect ambient light intensity and follow a line on the floor. Other features include include programmable LED's, a buzzer and switches. Many extensions are available, such as a BlueTooth radio, wireless camera, text-to-speech, and more. 
The KoreBot is the original single-board computer optimized to to increase performance and connectivity while offering low power consumption to K-Team's and other's robotic applications. The KoreBot is a small embedded Linux board with some very attractive features for robotics and sensor network applications. |
